Confession Schedule

Saturdays:
4:00 - 5:00pm and by appointment.

First Fridays of each month:
one half hour before each daily Mass

Baptism
Baptisms must be scheduled in advance by calling the Parish Office. Normally Baptisms are held on Sunday afternoons at 12:45; alternative times are possible for a serious reason and given enough notice. Please contact the office for more information, 203-966-0020.

Parents must attend a Pre-Baptism class, held the second Monday of each month at 8:00pm in the Maple Street meeting room; please call the office to register for the class.

Marriage
Contact the parish office at least nine months in advance of the hoped-for wedding date. Bride and groom must meet in person with a parish priest before a date can be reserved. Wedding times are Saturdays at 11:00am, 1:00pm or 3:00pm.

Care of the Sick
Caring for the sick is a vital part of our parish mission, but we need to be told when someone is ill. Call the parish office to:

  • let us know about any serious illness in your family;
  • to have a person's name added to the prayer list we publish in the bulletin;
  • to have a priest administer the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick;
  • to have a priest visit someone at home or in the hospital.

If the ill person is already in a hospital, start with the Chaplain's Office of the hospital, then also notify the parish. Also call the parish office if someone is homebound and unable to attend Mass; we have a dedicated corps of Eucharistic Ministers who bring communion to the sick and homebound every Friday.

RCIA -  Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
Have you been thinking about becoming a Catholic? We invite you to look deeper into the Catholic faith.  RCIA is a process which takes place gradually in an open and welcoming environment.  It is a journey to learn how to live the Gospel values and the truths of our faith.  We hold weekly sessions to share what Catholics believe and the fellowship of our church family through study, prayer, and rites at Masses.  Participants are mentored throughout the process by a team of catechists and sponsors.
