Mother Teresa's Closet
About our Mother Teresa Closet:
Mother Teresa's Closet, the little Red House in the parking lot, stands as a living tribute to Diane Baldwin, a Saint Aloysius parishioner, whose enthusiasm, vision, and leadership inspired the direction, growth, and service of our ministry to the parish and the community since the summer of 2010.
Our team works weekly to bring your donations to Person To Person in Darien and Saint Thomas in Norwalk. Seasonally, they go to the parish Star program, the boy scout tag sale, the parish youth group's midnight run, and pop up shops for the Breakthrough families. In the past, special projects under the commitment and leadership of Jack Murray and the School Sisters of Notre Dame have brought clothing to those in need in the Bronx and prom dresses to high schoolers in Bridgeport. Additinally, out of season garments are shared with a mission in Colombia
None of this would be possible without the ongoing, dedicated, generous support of our parishioners. We hold you in our hearts and remember you with prayers of heartfelt gratitude. You are the living embodiment of the spirit of Mother Teresa. Thank you!
