Walking with Purpose

Coming to St. Aloysius Parish
2020 - 2021 Program - Morning and
Evening Course Descriptions
Format – Zoom and TBD

Women new to WWP are encouraged to take this course first:

Opening Your Heart: The Starting Point is our foundational course, designed for women who are new to Walking with Purpose as well as those with more experience in Bible Study! Join us as we examine the core questions that we wrestle with if we want to experience all that God has for us.  Some of the questions we’ll explore:

    •  How can I conquer my fears?
    •  What is the role of the Holy Spirit in my life?
    •  What does the Eucharist have to do with my friendship with Christ?
    •  What are the limits of Christ’s forgiveness?
    •  Why and how should I pray?
    •  What is the role of suffering in my life?
    •  What challenges will I face in my efforts to follow Jesus more closely?

This two-part course will be offered to women who have
completed Opening Your Heart.

Beholding His Glory shows us how all Scripture points us to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. As we look at Old Testament people and events, we’ll encounter problems that only Christ will solve, needs that only He will satisfy, and promises that only He can deliver. This is the first part of a two-part series and will be followed by part two, Beholding Your King. Beholding Your King integrates Scripture with the teachings of the Catholic Church to show us how all Scripture points to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
