Outreach Opportunities - Malta House

The mission of Malta House is to promote the dignity of God-given life by providing a nurturing home environment, support services and independent living skills to pregnant and parenting mothers of all faiths and their children.

Some of the areas where individuals and organizations can support our mission include:

  • Programs (for example, classes and 1:1 instruction & mentoring; gentle exercise; cooking & nutrition; ESL & translations; tutoring)
  • Weekend babysitting
  • Helping around our house (for example, handyperson, grounds beautification, adopt-a-room/suite)
  • Office assistance
  • Events support
  • Community meals (organizations or families provide a dinner or lunch)

Visit their website at Volunteer to see how to volunteer or contact Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator Jo Bennett at [email protected]

St. Aloysius supports Malta House through the teens of Youth Ministry, Our Lady’s Guild and our Young Adult Ministry.  These ministries help out by sponsoring an annual diaper drive, host dinners and other seasonal special events, attend Community Masses and pray for the mothers and their children in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
