Sacred Memory: 25 Years Later – St. Aloysius Preschool is Open! – Help Us to Meet our Goal for the Annual Bishop’s Appeal

Sacred Memory: 25 Years Later
On Friday, September 11 we will mark 25 years since the attacks that changed everything. That day of fear and tragedy touched our community directly and while healing has taken place, many still grieve. We will gather on September 11 to pray for family and friends who lost their lives, for all who are grieving, and for a true and lasting peace in our world. Special Masses will be held at 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm. I hope you can join us to honor the sacred memory of our brothers and sisters with our prayers for healing and peace.

St. Aloysius Preschool is Open!
The first students of St. Aloysius Preschool walked through the doors of our brand new Education and Faith Center on September 1. Moms, dads, and even some grandparents were on hand to create precious first-day-of-school memories. There were lots of smiles (and just a few tears) on those first days when our parish opened a joyful new chapter!

Help Us to Meet our Goal for the Annual Bishop’s Appeal
We are a little over $200,000 away from making our goal for the Annual Bishop’s Appeal. We have been so generous to our parish building campaign, but we can’t forge the important and life-giving services that our diocese provides to so many in Fairfield County. Please consider a gift. Make your gift payable to “Annual Bishop’s Appeal”. To make it easy to give, you can drop your check in the offertory basket or bring it/mail it to the parish office. We will make sure it gets to the appeal office. Thank you.

Join me in celebrating the dedication of our new building on September 16, beginning with Mass at 5:30 pm. Until then, you are in my prayers, and I am truly grateful for your faithfulness and care for one another.

In Christ, Yours in Christ,
