As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, our diocese is in the midst of a Eucharistic Renewal. The Eucharistic Processions that took place last week in different parts of Fairfield County brought thousands of people into the streets and into churches to honor Jesus present in the Most Holy Eucharistic. The story and video attached speak volumes about the powerful effect that the processions and hours of worship have already had. I always remind children that one of the most important reasons to come to church every week is so that you can experience a miracle – every time! Jesus truly present to us in the form of bread and wine is the miracle and the food that we need for the journey of discipleship. I pray that the Eucharistic renewal in our diocese will bring more and more to church to be wonderfully transformed by receiving the Body of Christ. The world needs a miracle right now. Jesus is that miracle.
Yours in Christ,
