Religious Education registration for the 2024/25 school-year will open Monday, June 17th and close at midnight July 12th.

Registration will be open for 4 weeks.  Once it’s closed you will have to reach out to Danielle Sibilia at directorreligioused@starcc.com.  

We are using a new registration portal called LEAD. Since this is the first time our families are using this system, you will need to create a new account. Please check your spam folder for emails.

Once you create a new account and log in you will be asked to add a participant. This must be done for each child you’re registering. This is a one-time request. Each registered child needs to have the following filled out online:

  1. Parental Consent and Release form
  2. Child Intake Form
  3. Please confirm child’s registration request.

Once you complete registration you will get a confirmation email with instructions on how to pay. ONLY ONE PARENT needs to register the child.

For Pre-K to grade 6 Sunday classes are set to start on September 15, 2024 and end on April 6, 2025.  Music class options will start Tuesday, September 17, 2024 and Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Our Religious Education program is for grades Pre-K (age 4) to 8th grade.

Religious Education Options

Options for Pre-K to grade 2

  • 8:45am – 9:45am (Sundays at South School)
  • 11:15am – 12:15pm (Sundays at South School)
  • *(NEW) Mass through Music (Thursdays in the Church from 4:00pm to 4:30pm)

 Options for grades 3 to 6

  • 8:45am – 9:45am (Sunday at South School)
  • 11:15am – 12:15pm (Sunday at South School)
  • **Choir & Religion (Tuesday in Stapleton Hall/Church from 4:15pm to 5:30pm)
  • Homeschool – grades 3 through 6 only. If you have registered for this option in the past and your child has not completed the materials, we reserve the right to deny this request and you will have to attend in-person.
  • Refresh and Renew (for grades 3 through 6 who have never had religion and need to make First Holy Communion.) – This needs Director approval prior to registering.

Level 1 Confirmation (Grade 7 only) – Marie Osterndorf, our Confirmation Coordinator, will email all families details of the program which will include your options for days and times of classes.

Level 2 Confirmation (Grade 8 only) – If you’re new to the program this year, Marie Osterndorf, will email you details; but for those returning, you will remain in the same class as last year. 

*If you’re signing up for the Mass through Music option for Pre-K to 2nd grade please note the following:

  • In addition to attending the weekly classes, your child will sing at a scheduled 10am Mass.
  • If your child is in 2nd grade they must also sign up for Sunday classes at South school so they can be catechized for their Sacraments.

**The St. Aloysius Music Ministry and Religious Education will be in partnership again to offer Religious Education classes through music.  If you are signing up for the Choir and Religion option, please note the following:

  • The class is limited to 50 students in Grades 3 through 6.
  • The students must have completed 1st and 2nd grade and made their Communion.
  • In addition to attending the weekly classes, you will be required to sing at one scheduled 10am Mass per month.
  • Youth Choir will sing at special Christmas and Easter Concerts/Masses.
  • Students who register for this class will be required to attend a scheduled “Meet & Greet Audition” prior to the start of classes to ensure this class is the right fit

Enrollment Prerequisites

Parents – if your child is new to our program and was not Baptized at St. Aloysius you have to send me a copy of their Baptismal form before classes start.  This year you an upload it when you register your child.

Tuition must be paid at the time of registration.  Paying tuition only does not constitute registration for your child.  Any outstanding tuition must be paid in full prior to your child enrolling in the upcoming year.

Catechist/Hallway Helpers Needed

Our program cannot run without the help of our volunteers.  If you are interested in helping teach or monitor the hallways for Pre-K to grades 6, please complete the attached and someone from our staff will reach out to you.

Catechist and Hallway helpers get a discount on tuition.
