Welcome Seminarian Bill Izuazu
We are pleased to welcome Bill Izuazu, a seminarian for the Diocese of Bridgeport, who has been assigned to St. Aloysius.
Bill is a third-year theology seminarian at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Yonkers. He will be with us on Wednesdays, assisting in a variety of ministries as he gains experience and a deeper understanding of parish life.
Please join us in welcoming Bill to our parish! We are honored to have him join our St. Aloysius family and look forward to sharing this time of formation with him.

All Souls’ Day Mass of Remembrance
We will read the names of all parishioners who passed away between 11/3/2025 and today.
If you would like to add the name of a family member or friend who passed away in the last year (but might not be a parishioner or did not have their funeral at Saint Aloysius), please email their name to John Palma at [email protected].

NOTES FROM MONSIGNOR ROB
The Emmaus Retreat and “The One”
I won’t be at Masses in the church this weekend because I will be with our teens and adults participating in the Fall Emmaus Retreat. The three days provide opportunities for the 36 teen “candidates” to encounter Christ in prayer, witness talks, Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and fellowship. We have been preparing for the Emmaus retreat for months, and each part of the weekend is carefully and prayerfully created by the many teen and
Our Lady of the Rosary
The Feast of the Most Holy Rosary is October 7, but Bishop Caggiano has asked that we celebrate that special feast of our Blessed Mother this coming weekend at all the Sunday Masses. The readings will be those of the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time, but the prayers of the Mass will be taken from those proper to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The reason for celebrating the Blessed Virgin Mary on this first Sunday of
Blessed Fulton Sheen
On September 24, Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen was beatified in a Mass at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Blessed Fulton Sheen has been called the greatest Catholic communicator of the 20th century. I am grateful to the Catholic University of America where Sheen studied and taught (and where I received my graduate degree in theology) for the brief biography of this American on his way to sainthood.
